Groundhog Day was pretty uneventful yesterday. We saw nary a ground hog. Sure we saw plenty of hogs, but we have a hog farm. But not seeing a groundhog on Groundhog Day has me really troubled. If a groundhog surfaces and sees its shadow, we are in for more winter. If it does not see its shadow, winter will close quickly. But what does it mean when you do not see one at all?
I'm thinking in Honduras seeing no groundhogs means no tamales until Christmas, which is a pretty sad state of affairs here.
